FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

What are Mile High Station and Ironworks?
Both Mile High Station and Ironworks are single event venues. Our venues are 100% dedicated to events. The venues are available for rental day or night, with additional set up time as an option.
Do you provide in-house catering?
It is important to our clients that they feel as they have a choice in the vendors that they select for their event. We have an approved list of 8-9 outstanding approved caterers that our clients can choose from.
Do you have an A/V system?
Yes, we do have an in-house A/V system at both venues. This includes wifi, tvs, and sound system. The A/V system is included in the rental fee of the venue, but you are required to hire one of our approved A/V partners to tech the system. Contact one of our team members for more information.
You are so close to Empower Field do you open for Bronco games?
Yes, we absolutely open before, during, and after all home Bronco games and 50,000+ guest events at Empower Field. Mile High Station serves a full game day menu and drink specials all day. Ironworks takes reservations for an all you can eat brunch buffet.
During this time of COVID-19 what are you doing to keep events safe?
Our client and guest’s safety is our number one concern. We are currently working with the state and local government to draft policy and procedures that will be implemented during all events. We will require all vendors and staff to have training prior to the first event taking place once we are allowed to host events again. We are making a large investment in acquiring new non-contact payment options, hand sanitizer stations, masks for our employees/vendors, etc.
Do you require a planner for weddings?
We do not require a planner to be hired for any event. However, we strongly recommend working with a wedding planner if it is in your budget. There are many logistical and cost saving advantages to having an event planner to assist you during the wedding planning process.
Can we bring in our own alcohol?
The benefit of booking your event at Mile High Station and Ironworks is that we carry the liquor license and handle all your bar related needs. For this reason, per Colorado State Liquor Law, no outside alcoholic beverages are allowed to be brought into our venues. If you are a licensed 501-3c and are wanting to have donated alcohol for your non-profit event we do allow this as long as it is following all Colorado State Liquor Laws and is delivered directly from a Colorado licensed distributor.
How late can my event host my event?
Great News! Mile High Station and Ironworks allow events to go until 2 am. We don’t allow events to go longer than 6 hours of event time, this does not include set up or break down time.
Do you have parking on-site?
Yes, we do! There are 175 parking spots on-site that are available for both Mile High Station and Ironworks events to use.
Do you have a location for ceremonies to take place on-site?
Absolutely! At both Mile High Station and Ironworks there are multiple locations that you can host your ceremony. We allow ceremony to be in conjunction with your reception at no additional charge.
Am I allowed to bring in any entertainment I want or do I have to use an approved vendor?
We know how important it is for our clients to put their individual touches on as much of their event as possible. For this reason, we have an open policy that allows clients to hire any band or DJ they wish. The only exception is if you want to use our A/V system for your event, then we require you to use one of our two approved A/V and entertainment companies. As a reminder, the entertainment or A/V company you select must be fully insured and meet our insurance requirements.
